We've continuously released a series of special features highlighting various facets of Zhengzhou: its contributions to Chinese-style modernization in Henan, its emergence as an international consumption center, its unique business identity, its expanding role in the Silk Road initiative, and its captivating cultural vibrancy. These features showcase Zhengzhou's latest achievements in developing new productive forces, optimizing its business environment, and advancing Silk Road construction, presenting to the world a flourishing and beautiful city. The content has resonated widely, sparking engagement from embassies, diplomats, international influencers, and netizens worldwide.

“奋力交出中国式现代化建设河南实践的郑州答卷”“国际消费中心城市”“郑州商业名片”“郑州丝路建设再扩能”“用镜头捕捉文化郑州”系列专题不断上线，报道郑州在新质生产力、营商环境、丝路建设方面的最新成果，向世界展现欣欣向荣的大美郑州，赢得各国使领馆、外交官、海外大V、海外网友的频频转发互动。

Looking back on this year, we've also witnessed Zhengzhou forging new friendships.

Sometimes, it's the simple joy of connecting with someone from afar. We orchestrated heartwarming cross-cultural exchanges: French teenagers exploring the bonds between China and France, a Polish woman experiencing the wheat harvest, and renowned Japanese director Ryo Takeuchi exploring historic districts. During traditional festivals and solar terms, we invited hundreds of foreign experts, students, business leaders, and multinational executives based in Zhengzhou to experience Chinese culture at Shang Dynasty Ruins Park and Fuyuan Academy. These experiences highlight the essence of Zhengzhou, a youthful and culturally vibrant city, as well as a technologically advanced and service-oriented international hub.

有时，是“与君远相知，不知云海深”的小确幸。与法国青少年演绎中法情缘，带波兰姑娘体验麦收，和日本知名导演竹内亮打卡历史街区……在传统节日、节气里，我们组织邀请了上百位在郑外国专家、留学生、工商界人士、跨国企业高管等人员走进商都遗址公园、福苑书房体验中华传统文化，领略“年轻郑”的标识、“文化郑”的灵魂、“国际郑”的形象， “科技郑”的风骨，“服务郑”的根基。

And then there are the grand occasions. We orchestrated the ASEAN - China (Henan) Forum on International Communication, a dialogue to foster understanding and strengthen ties between Zhengzhou and ASEAN nations. In collaboration with the Henan Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, we published special reports during the Yellow River Culture Month, including "The Distance between Me and My Hometown" and "A Mid-Autumn Letter from Zhengzhou." These initiatives leveraged the connections of overseas Chinese communities to spread the charm of Chinese culture.

有时，也少不了一些“大场面”。策划举办中国（河南）—东盟国际传播交流会，以对话的形式，让认同感跨越万水千山，深化郑州与东盟国家在文化传播上的联系与合作；携手河南省归国华侨联合会，在黄河文化月期间发布《我与故乡的距离》《来自郑州的一封中秋家书》等专题报道，以侨为桥，传播华夏文化的魅力。

Our high-profile interview series took you to Beijing for the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and to Dunhuang for the 7^th Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo. We facilitated dialogues with the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, the Minister of Public and International Relations of Ethiopia, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, and other distinguished guests, sharing their perspectives on Zhengzhou as the "Center of Heaven and Earth, Birthplace of the Yellow Emperor, and City of Kungfu."

高端访谈栏目带你赴北京见证2024中非合作论坛北京峰会，奔赴敦煌报道第七届丝绸之路（敦煌）国际文化博览会；带你对话布基纳法索总理、埃塞俄比亚公共与国际关系部部长、泰王国驻华大使馆驻华大使副馆长……讲述外宾眼中的“天地之中、黄帝故里、功夫郑州”城市形象。

Other times, it's the genuine camaraderie forged through martial arts exchanges. During the 13^th Shaolin Wushu Festival, We launched a series of features, including "Hometown of Wushu - Cheering for the Shaolin Wushu Festival," engaging in a global dialogue on martial arts with national communication centers across China.

还有时，则是不“打”不相识的真功夫。第十三届少林武术节举行，我们策划推出“武术之乡 武比精彩——为少林武术节打Call”等系列作品，联动全国各省市国传中心“晒武艺”与世界对话。

We also welcomed International Online, Huanqiu.com, ifeng.com, and the Henan University of Technology to our international communications network, striving for a synergistic effect greater than the sum of its parts.

The past year has brought a wealth of achievements. In the "My China Story" International Short Video Competition hosted by the China International Communications Group, our "Foreigners in Zhengzhou" video series once again reached the podium. Two of our submissions received top honours in the "Me and My China Story" Photography and Short Video Competition organized by China Daily. WhereZhengzhou has been recognized year after year as an Outstanding Chinese Government New Media Platform in the annual assessment of influential digital government platforms. Our TikTok influence index ranks fourth nationwide, following Hong Kong, Macao, and Beijing. We will transform these honors into motivation as we embark on a new journey.

旧岁已过，收获千重锦。在外文局主办的“第三只眼看中国”国际短视频大赛中，《老外带你看郑州》视频栏目作品再次登上领奖台；在中国日报主办的“我和我的中国故事”摄影&短视频案例征集评比中，两个作品分获大奖；在中国优秀政务平台（数字政府）推荐及综合影响力评估中，WhereZhengzhou连年获评年度中国优秀政务新媒体（矩阵）；TikTok影响力指数排在香港、澳门、北京之后，位居全国第四……我们将荣誉化为动力，昂首踏上新征程。

As the new year approaches, we aim even higher. Zhengzhou, this ancient land that birthed Chinese civilization, also nurtures dreams of global connection and understanding. Today, the "four silk roads"—in the air, on land, online, and at sea—connect Zhengzhou ever more closely to the world, ushering in a new era of cultural exchange. In the coming year, WhereZhengzhou will continue to tell China's story through the lens of our city.
