Located in Guangwu Town in the northernmost part of Xingyang, Zhengzhou, the Ancient Chuhe Hanjie Battlefield Scenic Spot is home to a statue of Xiangyu, a prominent general of the Chu State in the Chu–Han War. Beside it stands an iron statue of his war horse with its head up and neighing, the 9-meter-high and 20-ton statue leaving a deep impression with tourists.

盛夏时节，在郑州荥阳市广武镇最北部，楚河汉界古战场风景区内，楚霸王塑像威风凛凛，特别是高9米、重达20吨的铁铸战马，昂首嘶鸣，给游人留下了深深的感叹和沉思。

Representing the outcome of the Chu–Han War, the Honggou Canal is located in Xingyang and is used as a boundary on the game board of Chinese chess - Xiangqi. With the spread of Xiangqi, it has become more well-known in people's lives.

作为“楚河汉界”的鸿沟，不仅留在荥阳这座“东方名郡”，而且留在象棋的棋盘上，并随着象棋制艺的传播更加切入人民大众的社会生活。

In recent years, Xingyang is focusing on the discovery, protection and preservation of Xiangqi culture, and Xingyang's people have decided to build Xingyang into a Xiangqi capital. Xingyang has recently held many Xiangqi cultural activities such as the China Chess Culture Festival, the Asian Chess Carnival, and the Chu-River and Han-border King of Xiangqi Tournament.

近年来，荥阳致力于象棋文化的挖掘、保护和传承工作，“共建世界象棋文化之都”成为荥阳市全社会发展共识。这里已经连续举办了中国象棋文化节、亚洲象棋嘉年华、楚河汉界世界棋王赛等活动。

In 2023, China's top Xiangqi tournament – the National Amateur King of Xiangqi Tournament – will begin, nicknamed the "Xingyang Chu-River and Han-border Cup" by the People's Government of Xingyang, the main partner of the Tournament. In June, the Xingyang Chu-River and Han-border Cup wave was set off across the country. At the end of 2023, the tournament finals will be held in Xingyang, where winners of the regional competitions will be invited to compete with each other.

今年，国内象棋顶尖赛事——全国象棋业余棋王赛又将开战，荥阳市人民政府成为该项赛事的“重量级”合作伙伴，并为赛事冠名为“荥阳·楚河汉界杯”。进入6月，随着赛事的全面铺开，全国各地掀起“荥阳·楚河汉界杯”赛事浪潮。年底，“荥阳·楚河汉界杯”2023年第八届全国象棋业余棋王赛将在荥阳上演总决赛，全国各地的民间棋王将“棋”聚荥阳，“弈”动楚河汉界。

Wangcun Town in Xingyang lies along the Yellow River and is next to Mang Mountain. Due to the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, it is full of beautiful scenery consisting of mountains and rivers.

沿着黄河岸边，来到了荥阳市王村镇，这里背依邙岭、面朝黄河，南水北调工程穿黄而过，独特的地理位置造就了山水齐聚的秀丽风光。

It is home to rich cultural heritage, including the Han Tomb in Chang Village, the River Guardian Iron Ox, the Ancient Theater, and the Ancient Ferry Port Site. It is also the origin of charming folk arts such as the flexible but powerful Chang Family Boxing and the lively Jiang Tou Lion Dance.

厚重的历史则为这里留下了丰富的文化遗产，苌村汉墓、镇河铁牛、古戏台、古渡口等遗迹诉说着斑驳岁月，刚柔并济的苌家拳、腾跃舞动的蒋头舞狮展露着民间艺术之美。

Along the surging Yellow River stands the Gubaidu Scenic Area, the Gubaidu Fengle Cherry Garden, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Yellow River Section Scenic Area, and the Yellow River Plateau Tourism Area, sharing the beautiful and magnificent scenery along the Yellow River. In addition, these scenic areas highlight local agricultural advantages and also promote charming local folk culture, giving full play to the role of the Yellow River in the new era.
