April 9^th was the start of the 2024 ASEAN-China （Henan）Month of People-to-People Exchanges, and guests from ASEAN countries came to Zhengzhou to immerse themselves in the splendor of its landscapes, the richness of its history, and the dynamic momentum of its development.

On April 10^th, the 2024 World Henan Entrepreneurs Convention was held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, where over 800 renowned representatives of Henan-related businesses from all over the world gathered together to participate in the development event, share nostalgia and friendship and create a better future.

On April 11^th, the ancestor worship ceremony of the Yellow Emperor in the year of the dragon was held in the hometown of the Yellow Emperor in Xinzheng, Zhengzhou. Chinese people from more than 190 countries around the world went to Zhengzhou for this spring's "spiritual appointment."

As the birthplace of Qihuang culture and the birthplace of the Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine, the first Zhengzhou Qi-Huang Traditional Chinese Medicine Development Conference was held in Xinmi the following day.

In October 2023, the Zhengzhou Open returned with renewed vigor after three years. Over nine days, nearly 80 high-level players from around the world gathered once again, offering mesmerizing tennis matches to global fans.

The world admires Chinese martial arts, and Shaolin is representative of Chinese martial arts. As an important birthplace of Chinese martial arts, Zhengzhou vigorously promotes the "Kung Fu Zhengzhou" brand, which is of great significance as one of the "Four Places and One Important Area," in order to create an international martial art tourist destination. Martial arts, along with the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, have become the most well-known elements of Chinese culture overseas. The Shaolin Temple has established Shaolin Cultural Centers in many countries, and the Tagou Wushu School has performed at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala for several consecutive years. In diplomatic activities, martial arts performances have become the most prominent "cultural main course" in terms of appearance rate and attention.

世界功夫看中国，中国功夫出少林。郑州作为中国功夫的重要发源地，大力塑造“功夫郑州”城市品牌，对于加快建设“四地一重地”，打造国际功夫旅游目的地，意义重大、正当其时。功夫与长城、故宫已成为当今海外最知名的中国文化IP。少林寺在多个国家建有少林文化传播中心，塔沟武校连年参与央视春晚演出。在外事活动中，功夫表演已成为出场率和关注度最高的“文化主餐”。

Zhengzhou was the most prosperous metropolis on earth 3600 years ago. Cities like Babylon and Assur in Mesopotamia, and Harappa in the Indus River valley, were not as large or organized as the Shang Dynasty capital located in modern-day Zhengzhou. In the new era, as a national central city and a node of the Belt and Road, Zhengzhou gives new connotations to its ancient title of "Capital of Shang Dynasty." It is an unquestionable responsibility and mission for Zhengzhou to serve as a leader, enhance internationalization, and lead the modernization of Henan.
