Since entering the Chilean market in 2005, Yutong Group—Zhengzhou's leading bus manufacturer—has steadily expanded its presence in the local transportation sector. The company has now sold a total of 2,000 vehicles, broadening its portfolio from purely electric buses to a full range of commercial vehicles, actively supporting Chile's transition toward green and low-carbon mobility.

At the recent China (Zhengzhou)-Chile Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held in Santiago, Yutong signed four cooperation agreements with multiple Chilean companies, totaling over RMB 300 million. These deals mark a key milestone in Zhengzhou's economic and trade collaboration with Chile.

在近日于智利首都圣地亚哥举办的中国（郑州）—智利经贸合作推介会上，宇通与智利多家企业签署四项合作协议，总金额超过3亿元人民币，成为郑州经贸合作的重要成果之一。

A representative from Yutong Group stated during the conference that this signing would serve as a new starting point. The company is committed to upholding localized operations and a global vision in serving the Chilean market, actively contributing to Chile's green transportation transition.

Since 2018, Yutong has actively participated in Santiago's pure electric bus fleet renewal project. This year, Yutong is also set to deliver its first 12-meter hydrogen fuel cell bus to Chile. Furthermore, Yutong's pure electric mining trucks and light commercial vehicles have successively entered Chile's northern mining regions and urban logistics markets.

自2018年起，宇通积极参与圣地亚哥纯电动公交更新项目。今年，宇通还将向智利交付首台12米氢燃料公交车。此外，宇通纯电动矿卡和轻卡也已陆续进入智利北部矿区及城市物流市场。

In terms of fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, Yutong launched its "Yutong Zero-Carbon Forest Program" last year, and has already planted 1,700 trees in Santiago, contributing to local ecological development. The company also participates in the Chilean Ministry of Transport's public welfare sponsorship program for female drivers, actively integrating into local community development.
