Behind the surging vitality of the urban consumer market lies Zhengzhou's continuous expansion in commercial scale. Data from the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce shows that Zhengzhou has been vigorously promoting the construction of 8 high-end commercial complexes, 16 high-quality hotels, 5 exhibition venues, 21 distinctive commercial blocks, and 26 cultural tourism and creative projects. Currently, Zhengzhou boasts over 200 large commercial complexes, large-scale shopping malls and large-scale supermarkets, positioning its commercial scale at the national forefront.
支撑城市消费市场涌动活力的背后,是郑州商业体量的不断扩容。来自市商务局的相关数据显示,郑州一直在大力推动8个高端商业综合体、16个高品质酒店、5个会展场馆、21条特色商业街区、26个文旅文创项目建设。目前,全市大型商业综合体、规模以上商场、规模以上超市已超200家,商业体量位居全国前列。

“以旧换新”火热进行
Since the beginning of this year, the consumer goods trade-in program has been progressing smoothly in Zhengzhou. Coupled with the "Golden September and Silver October" shopping season, the policy effects have been rapidly unleashed, effectively promoting a gradual recovery in consumption. Data from the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce shows that, up to the present, 37,195 subsidy applications for automobile scrapping and renewals have been received, stimulating automobile consumption by 5.58 billion yuan; 860,644 trade-ins (including online) for household appliances have been completed, and 15,471 home renovations and kitchen/bathroom upgrades have been carried out. As of October 29th, 2,246 applications for old house renovations and kitchen/bathroom remodels have been made.
今年以来,全市消费品以旧换新工作进展顺利,叠加“金九银十”消费旺季,政策效应加快释放,有力促进消费逐步回暖。来自市商务局的相关数据显示,截至目前,全市汽车报废更新共收到消费者提交补贴申请37195单,拉动汽车消费55.8亿元;全市家电以旧换新已完成860644单(含线上),家装厨卫“焕新”完成15471单。截至10月29日,旧房装修、厨卫改造已申报2246人。

Strolling through the city has become a new fashion. The Erqi Mifang Fashion Creative Block, once an actual granary, has been transformed into a vibrant "spiritual granary" brimming with creativity, innovation, and artistic life accessible to citizens. The Zhengzhou 1948 Theme Block not only restores classic elements of old Zhengzhou such as the Zhengzhou National Cotton Factory, Zhongyuan Theater, and Builders' Cultural Palace but also features a variety of new shops including hot pot restaurants at the market, flower design shops, and barbershops. As people stroll and admire, familiar landmarks and objects evoke the native memories of Zhengzhou residents.
城市漫步成为出行新时尚,二七米房时尚创意街区,由昔日的“物质粮仓”蝶变为时尚创意感满满的“精神粮仓”,让街区艺术生活成为市民触手可及的日常。郑州1948主题街区,不仅还原了郑州国棉厂、中原影剧院、建筑工人文化宫等老郑州经典元素,还有着市集火锅、花艺、理发等各式各样的新店铺。人们逛着、感叹着,随处可见的老地标、老物件勾起属于郑州人的原生记忆。
Currently, the construction of over 20 characteristic commercial blocks in Zhengzhou is showing initial success. These visually appealing and unique new consumer settings, spaces, and business formats are becoming vital factors driving the development of consumption towards new directions.

Momentum stimulated by diverse activities

Leveraging festivals to gather momentum and invigorate consumer vitality, Zhengzhou has invested over 100 million yuan into a series of "Cross-Year Renewal" consumption season events. By distributing automobile coupons, general benefit coupons, and e-commerce coupons, it has directly spurred more than 2.6 billion yuan in consumption. Additionally, districts and enterprises have injected over 140 million yuan in various funds (resources) to organize nearly 300 activities across different fields, driving an approximate consumption increase of 4.6 billion yuan. Relevant departments organized May Day consumption promotion activities, launching 23 special consumption routes and 160 themed events. Over 200 consumption promotion activities such as the 2024 National Day: Better Life Festival, Extraordinary China: Trendy National Day, and Explore Songshan Mountain and Chase Dreams in the Golden Autumn were held during the National Day holiday, offering citizens a rich and varied holiday consumer experience.
以节聚势,激发消费新活力。郑州市元旦、春节“跨年焕新”消费季系列活动投入财政资金超1亿元,发放汽车消费券、惠民通用消费券、电商消费券,直接带动消费超26亿元,组织区县、企业投入各类资金(资源)超1.4亿元,开展各领域促消费活动近300项,带动消费增长约46亿元;相关部门组织五一促消费活动,推出特色消费线路23条,推出不同主题的促消费活动160项;开展“2024国庆美好生活节”“非常中国·潮趣国庆”“玩转嵩山 逐梦金秋”等国庆金秋促消费活动200余项,为市民送上丰富多彩的假期消费体验。
