The inaugural World Conference of Classics was held in Beijing from November 6^th to 8^th. Prior to the Conference, the World Conference of Classics: Exploring China event took place in Henan, Shandong and Sichuan. Attendees had the opportunity to experience firsthand the open and inclusive nature of Chinese civilization and its cultural characteristics. They immersed themselves in the creative transformation and innovative development of China's outstanding traditional culture.

首届世界古典学大会于11月6日至8日在北京召开。大会召开前，在河南、山东、四川开展了“世界古典学大会·走读中国”活动，与会嘉宾实地感知中华文明开放包容的文明特质和文化特征，沉浸式感受中华优秀传统文化的创造性转化和创新性发展。

On November 3^rd, the World Conference of Classics: Exploring China Henan Tour event commenced in Zhengzhou, Henan, with over 40 foreign experts and scholars in classics from 13 countries embarking on their journey across the Central Plains.

11月3日，“世界古典学大会·走读中国之中原行”活动在河南郑州启动，来自13个国家的40余位外籍古典学专家学者踏上中原大地。

As a significant cradle of the Chinese nation and the Chinese civilization, Henan holds a wealth of historical and cultural treasures that shine like stars in the night sky. It carries the main roots of Chinese civilization, providing a rich material foundation and academic resources for classical studies research in China. Over the course of three days, attendees climbed the 3,600-year-old ancient city walls of the Shang Dynasty, encountered national treasures in the Henan Museum, and ventured into the Erlitou Xia Dynasty Capital site to perceive "the earliest China". Additionally, they also visited the Longmen Grottoes to appreciate the charm of Eastern culture and interpreted the textual codes of "oracle bone inscriptions" in the Yinxu Museum.

作为中华民族和华夏文明的重要发祥地，河南怀抱灿若星辰的历史文化瑰宝，承载中华文明的主根主脉，为中国古典学研究提供了丰厚的物质基础和学术资源。在3天行程中，与会嘉宾登上了3600年前的商代古城墙，到河南博物院邂逅国家宝藏，走进二里头夏都遗址感知“最早的中国”，探访龙门石窟领略东方文化的魅力，在殷墟博物馆解读“甲骨卜辞”的文字密码……

By exploring the Central Plains, attendees have the opportunity to experience China. They reviewed the historical origins of civilization through on-site visits and contemplated the modern civilization.
