According to an analysis released by a third-party institution, Zhengzhou has been listed among the top ten cities nationwide in terms of car sales for the first half of 2024. Data from the Henan Automobile Industry Association indicates that, during this period, Zhengzhou sold a total of 257,500 new vehicles, accounting for 36% of the province's total.

Trade-ins play a crucial role in expanding consumption. On April 27^th, Henan Province initiated the Trade-In car exchange event along with the "BYD Day" in Zhengzhou. This event encourages the replacement of older cars that are characterized by high energy consumption, significant pollutant emissions, prolonged use and potential safety hazards with new energy or fuel-efficient vehicles. It involves three actions: Automobile Scrappage and Renewal, Car Replacement and Renewal, Innovative Automobile Circulation and Consumption. Since its launch, this event has received 6,384 applications, accounting for one-third of the provincial total, and has driven approximately 960 million yuan in car sales.

以旧换新是扩大消费的重要抓手。4月27日，河南省汽车以旧换新暨“比亚迪日”活动在郑州启动，鼓励将高能耗、高排放、使用年限较长、存在安全隐患的老旧汽车，更换为新能源汽车或节能型汽车，开展汽车报废更新、汽车置换更新、汽车流通消费创新3项行动。活动开展以来，累计收到6384份申请，占全省三分之一，带动汽车销售约9.6亿元。

In May 2024, the Gangdong Auto Parts Industrial Park in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone was officially opened, with companies signing agreements on site. Six days later, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone signed cooperation agreements with six auto parts enterprises.

2024年5月，郑州航空港经济综合实验区港东汽车零部件产业园正式开园，入园企业现场签约。6天后，郑州航空港区与6家汽车零部件企业签订合作协议。

On July 8^th, in the used car trading industry in Zhengzhou, Uxin Group, a used car retail company, announced that it had established a strategic partnership with Zhengzhou Airport Automobile Industry Investment Co., Ltd., and the two parties plan to jointly build the Uxin's Zhengzhou Warehouse Factory Store for Used Cars.
